This plain stretches flat and featureless on the edge of Leetakh's gnoll domain. Why, only an invisible demon could hide here!
And so it does. In the encounter system, treat this hex as the base of a free-ranging quasit spy, the familiar of one of Leetakh's shamans (hex #9). It flits around and spies in a 10 mile radius. Detecting it is difficult but not impossible, as it either hovers invisibly or blends in to the desert in scorpion form. The quasit reports back to Leetakh's shaman but is 50% likely to misunderstand or misrepresent any conversation it overhears. If the shaman is killed it is 50% likely to return to its home plane, 50% likely to offer its services instead to the rival gnoll leader Junjeh.
