Four hexes south of Alakran.
Another encounter center for the wild dromedaries that roam the region. Although on the five-mile hex map this area is marked as dunes, I've gone for realism by blending in the stony desert and borax salt features from adjoining hexes.
What else can be said about camels? Only that:
- They mate while kneeling
- Their dung, eaten, cures dysentery
- Every part of them is adapted to survive in the dry and the sand, down to their blood cells
- Horses are afraid of their scent - which is why horses are not domesticated in the Urig lands
- Their mouth lining is tough and can chew on thorns
- Yes, they spit in self-defense
- And I'm saving the weirdest camel legend of all for later
