Hex Crawl 23 #102: Table of the Demiurge

One hex northeast, five southeast of Alakran.

In a desolate, roofless shrine on the parched plain is a simple obsidian altar surrounded by a curious collection of wooden molds for half-sized clay objects -- loaves of bread, farm tools, bolts of cloth, and sundry other supplies.

With the invasion of Chaos hordes, whatever goodly folk maintained the shrine have been drive off or murdered. Many of the molds have been smashed by invaders not cognizant of their use. For the magic of the altar is not easy to discern -- if up to six clay objects, half-sized, are left on the altar overnight, at dawn they transform into the real object. The keepers of the altar must have kept the secret safe, for the few common folk who have survived to remember life in that area think only that a few charitable monks of Mitra dwelt there and practiced their crafts charitably.
