Eight hexes north, five northeast of Alakran.
North of the Zi'iri settlements, the vale broadens. Here a hundred small homesteads scrape a living from the sandy soil. And here the river Hama springs from a great stone well carved into the side of a small hill, tumbles twenty feet in an impressive waterfall, and wends its way north into lands we will never know.
Though poor, the people of this region are content, because the sight of the sunlight of the morning lighting up the water spray of the spring in flaming color brings a great joy and meaning to one's day's activities. Having seen this sight at dawn, any activity engaged in before sunset enriches life and brings 50% more experience points.
